Almost leaving on a jet plane: November 27, 2012

All our bags are packed . . . .On Tuesday, Ramzi flew back to L.A., the Asheville Lewises flew home, and Skyler and Amon flew back to Portland.

Sunday, November 25

We all scattered!  Papa Tom was at work; Ryder, Brandy, and kids visited with friends; Amon, Anjanette, Ramzi, and Jade went to the Heritage Homestead Festival near Waco; and Martin, Skyler, and I had dinner at the Hula Hut.

We have painted ladies!

Five of our painted lady butterflies emerged ready to make the great outdoors their home.

But one little painted lady emerged from its chrysalids with a damaged wing.  

We let our little damaged friend live in the habitat with sugar water and  on the plants in the sun room.
