After choosing some comic books, we had lunch at Bacon. Yes, that's a pig statue on the roof. After P. Tom insisted that real pigs can reach 1,000 pounds, and I was doubtful, Emma looked up the answer for us: the largest ever pig weighed over 1,900 pounds and was over 8 feet long!

Emma made friends with a little squirrel by sharing her French toast with him or her. She named her new friend "Francis" because French toast is from France and we didn't know if the squirrel was a girl or a boy.
