| We surprised Mya by showing up for her award ceremony Thursday, March 1, before Ryder and Brandy caught their flight to Florida for Mandy and Jean's wedding. The kids are studying the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Mya was recognized for being proactive. Congratulations, Mya! |

| The kids aren't told ahead of time who the award recipients are. I'm pretty sure Mya figured out she was going to be recognized when she saw Ryder, Brandy, and me tiptoe into the back of the classroom. Papa Tom stayed at the house to get Piper ready for pre-school, which starts later than Mya and River's school. Thanks, Papa Tom! |
