| Some 411 miles west of Austin is Alpine, Texas, the largest city in the largest county in the largest state in the contiguous United States. Only a Texan would say that. The porch of our casita looked on a barnyard of chickens, goats, ducks, horses and cows. The goats were friendly and curious. |
