Are we really moving 4,000-8,000 pounds of wood chips??? (October 9, 2021)

The internet says a cubic yard of mulch weighs between 400-800 pounds.  We had 10 cubic yards to move.  Go team!  

Papa and Amon dumped trash cans full of chips in the front flower bed and gardens and in the large greenhouse bed.  The goal was a depth of 6".

I had the easy job that first day of spreading the chips.  Later, into December, I shoveled several buckets full a day from the driveway to flower beds in the back yard and the island under the elm until all the chips had been moved.  The next easy part will be planting seedlings in March without tilling.  Yea!
