Jingle bell elf toe of Cape Cod (September 26, 2021)

The Provincetown Breakwater is a rocky 1.2 mile walk to a lighthouse at the very tip of Cape Cod.
To be safe, you should start your rocky walk just as high tide is receding. Your timing has to be right or you could end up under water.
Toes in the Atlantic, where the Pilgrims first landed in 1620.
Saw many crabs scuttling just under the water next to the shore.
Ok, so the Mayflower anchored here first in the New World, and at Plymouth Rock some five weeks later.  The Pilgrims explored this part of Cape Cod for about a week before moving on.
Four hundred years later, canoes.
Or did the Wampanoag people use canoes long before current-day Americans?  This acknowledgement is across a small paved circle from the Pilgrim monument.
