Provincetown, Massachusetts (September 26, 2021)

We spent a day on Cape Cod in Provincetown, where Cheryl lived as a teenager.  The tower behind me is the Pilgrim Monument, built between 1907 and 1910 to commemorate the first landfall of the Pilgrims in 1620 and the signing of the Mayflower Compact in Provincetown Harbor. This 252-foot-7+12-inch-tall (77.0 m) companile is the tallest all-granite structure in the United States. After exploring Cape Cod, the Pilgrims sailed on and landed at Plymouth Rock five weeks later.
I love this front garden.

Renovating historic cottage.  Makes all our house of light and joy painting, deck rebuilding, closet cleaning, etc. seem very manageable!
